Title: Prep Cook
Reports To: Head Chef/Sous Chef
Summary of Position:
Prepare all food needed for daily service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow the prep list created by chefs each day
- Label, stock, and organize all ingredients in correct locations
- Follow recipes to prepare food items
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by cleaning workspace, sanitizing, and removing trash
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Comply with all food safety guidelines
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
- Assist line cooks with any necessary tasks
- Communicate maintenance and stocking issues with Head Chef/Sous Chef
Qualifications:
- Passionate about craft beer and food
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and occasionally lift heavy objects
- Prior food preparation experience a plus (not required)
- Safe food service certification a plus (ServSafe, Prometric, NRFSP)
Title: Line Cook
Reports To: Head Chef/Sous Chef
Summary of Position:
Follow recipes to enhance our guests’ experience by providing amazing food to accompany our amazing beer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment prior to service
- Cook food using various techniques
- Check food while cooking ensure a high quality finished product
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Maintain an organized workspace by cleaning/sanitizing as you work
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
- Assist chefs with any necessary tasks
- Communicate maintenance and stocking issues with Head Chef/Sous Chef
Qualifications:
- Passionate about craft beer and food
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and occasionally lift heavy objects
- Prior line cook experience a plus (not required)
- Safe food service certification a plus (ServSafe, Prometric, NRFSP)
Title: Dish Washer
Reports To: Head Chef/Sous Chef
Summary of Position:
Clean and restock all dishware and kitchen utensils to provide ease of service throughout each shift.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wash and restock all dishware
- Wash and restock all kitchen utensils
- Stock all dishwashing products prior to service (detergent, sanitizer, aprons)
- Maintain clean work area throughout shift
- Perform daily/weekly cleaning tasks
- Assist prep and line cooks with any necessary tasks
- Communicate maintenance and stocking issues with Head Chef/Sous Chef
Qualifications:
- Passionate about craft beer and food
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and occasionally lift heavy objects
- Prior dishwashing experience a plus (not required)
