The Mirbeau Companies are thrilled to be expanding the Mirbeau Inn & Spa brand to the village of Rhinebeck, NY and is scheduled to open in the summer of 2019. This brand new hotel, restaurant, and spa will feature 50 guestrooms, 12,000-square-foot Spa Mirbeau, and fitness center, 3000 square feet of meeting and conference space and Mirbeau's own Bistro & Wine Bar. The Mirbeau Inn and Spa will provide a luxurious resort experience that is easily accessible by train from the NYC Metro area and Albany Capital district.  We are elated to be able to expand our Mirbeau portfolio to the beautiful area of the Hudson Valley.

Mirbeau Inn & Spa is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in or around May of 2019 as we prepare to open in Summer of 2019. You will be responsible for leading the culinary team in the successful operation of all dining services consistent with the brand standards and in a way that maximizes the overall value of The Mirbeau Properties, through the successful administration 

Responsibilities:

Selection, Hiring, Organization and Management of the Culinary Team: As Executive Chef of The Mirbeau Inn & Spa of Rhinebeck you will be responsible for the selection, organization, and management the Culinary Team. You will work closely with the Director of Food and Beverage and the General Manager.  You will ensure that training meets the Mirbeau standards.  You will also be responsible for maintaining staffing levels that correspond to your overall goal of maximizing value for The Mirbeau Inn & Spa of Rhinebeck.

The Bistro & Wine Bar    MHS and the Owners are committed to the concept and format of the established Bistro offerings at The Mirbeau Inn & Spa of Rhinebeck. As the Executive Chef of The Mirbeau Inn & Spa of Rhinebeck, you will oversee the standardization of the Bistro Menu to include established recipes, preparation, portion size and presentation

Special Event Menus and additional Food & Beverage outlets   You will create distinct menus for Room Service, Amenity Offerings and the Aqua Terrace.  To support the sales efforts of catering revenue, you will create menus for Corporate Meetings and special events.

Marketing and Public Relations. You will work with the General Manager and public relations firm selected by MHS; in the promotion and exposure of The Mirbeau Inn & Spa of Rhinebeck.  You will seek opportunities to promote The Mirbeau Inn & Spa of Rhinebeck, locally, regionally and nationally.
